Listbroker is now fully registered with the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office). The ICO is the UK's independent information body, set up to uphold and protect the rights of the public and businesses. 
 
Determined as we are to uphold the highest data protection standards, we follow ICO's brest practice, which means we adhere to the following guidelines: 
 
Only buy and sell data which has been collected fairly and lawfully; 
Vet buyers and their artwork to ensure it is not harmful, offensive or inappropriate; 
Ensure that reasonable measures are taken to ensure that no individuals on lists that we manage or supply receive excessive amounts of third party mail; 
Ensure the accuracy of the data we supply through regular cleaning, vetting and recording of new information 
Ensure transparency regarding the source of any data supplied, including how and why it was collected, and how it is sorted; 
Retain data only as long as it is appropriate to do so, and safely dispose of old data with likely discrepancies regularly; 
Not ever release data on individuals flagged as on any suppression registers, including the Telephone Preference Service, the Mailing Preference Service, Mortascreen, the Bereavement Register, Baby MPS or PAF; 
Immediately remove any individuals from third party mailing lists should they request it; 
Ensure the security of data held on our systems with systems preventing the accidental or deliberate loss of essential data.
